Emily's Art - The Anticipation for Louie

So here's a drawing Emily did today of her and her puppy Louie (the tiny tiny doggie). She is very excited to bring him home. We are too especially when we heard on the news that St. Louis is going through a major heatwave. So it's like 98 degrees and high high humidity! blah! I sure don't miss that humidity at all!!!

Emily Girl

Emily saw "Soompi Royale", an animation from my cousin Susan (soompi.com). After seeing that animation, Emily decided to draw "Emily Girl". I absolutely love this drawing because this picture captures Emily's personality - a very happy happy girl.

Emily also drew this when she was sick. She had no voice, sore throat, lots of coughs, and no appetite. When she coughed, I saw tears rolling down her cheeks. I asked her why she was crying silently, and she said her throat hurt when she coughed. She wanted to cry quietly because her voice hurt too. But she would whisper all that with a smile. And she drew this picture.

What a darling little girl, my Emily!
