Saturday with the Family

It was 80 degrees today on January 15th. Just a great Saturday to spend with the family. We decided to take both parents to check out the Irvine Korean-American Festival this afternoon. And then afterwards go to Corner Place Korean Restaurant in Cerritos for dinner. Just love their kalbi and dong-chi-mee-kook-soo noodles! Following dinner we all went to Mochilatto for some japanese/italian shaved ice. Food coma!!!! But it was nice to see parents laugh and have a good time. Good memory to have...

Very Special Dinner

Oh gosh! Where can I begin about my dad's closest friend from medical school....He really helped David and me for parenthood and the whole process in bringing Emily into our lives!!! And it was so nice of Dr and Mrs Kim to invite us out to dinner. They wanted to see how much Emily had grown.

It's great to have special family friends in our lives as Dr and Mrs Kim. Maybe they'll attend Emily's graduation, her wedding, her medical school graduation???? hee hee hee

Few pictures I just took from my iPhone at Arirang Restaurant tonight... Mrs. Kim ordered so much food tonight. The kalbi was absolutely delicious as well as the dang jang soup.

A happy 47th wedding anniversary to my parents!!!

Took my parents out to Italian Restaurant for lunch. Dad enjoyed his angel hair pasta in red clam sauce. And toasting with a bloody mary.

We give grandparents a very special mug featuring some of their old black and white photos from Korea. They truly loved that gift! I love how they are holding hands in this picture!

.....In the evening we had our potluck christmas dinner with our small group. We met at church since there is more space than in a residential home. And Amanda is so nice to go with us and Emily & Amanda just play so well together.
