Emily's Pretty Teeth

So I decided to surprise Emily today and just bring her lunch to school.
I went and got her favorite food - a burrito from Chipotle. And then put two huge marshmallows and couple of salt water taffy. I thought she deserved some "sticky" junk snacks! Oh she was ecstatic!!!

Emily is so happy this afternoon. We went to the Bookfair at school. Emily picked out some fun books. This girl knows what type of books she likes and dislikes. She absolutely loves loves to read books - maybe more than her daddy!!! I just like to buy books.

After she finished her homework Emily decided to make this cute purse out of foam paper. I love it! I love Emily's creativity!!! Keep it up, Emily!

I have to say that Emily's smile is so pretty without braces!!!

Braces Off (Phase 1 COMPLETE)

Emily had her braces from January - June 1st. Wow! Time flew by on Phase 1. So this morning at 7:30am we went to the orthodontist where the metals came off and impressions were made for retainers.
It will be great if she doesn't need to do Phase 2. But we'll see when we have to cross that bridge later on...

Mommy: " What is the first thing you want to eat, Emily?"
Emily: " Well, there's CARAMEL! There's FRUIT ROLL-UPS! There's MOCHI! Oh and now I can chew gum and have corn on the cobs!!!"

We go in next week to pick up her retainers. But until then Emily will enjoy today with smooth teeth and not have to worry about food sticking to her braces or anything. 

I'm going to drop off Chipotle for her lunch today. She'll love that!

 

 

Braces came off at 7:35am. Phase 1 is DONE! GONE! COMPLETE!
