What did we have to feast? David made an incredible turkey using Alton Brown's recipe with homemade gravy, brining, and the whole works. We had ham, honey glazed carrots, maple sausage stuffing, sweet potato, mashed potato, spicy green beans, artichoke dips, lil' smokies, bruschetta, prosciutto crostini, ham, kalbi jim, chapchae, broccoli salad, cranberries, cornbread, and brown rice. I don't know if I forgot anything else. We also had apple pie (thanks to Carol), pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and 2 sweet potato pie (made by me)! David made margaritas, we had special Thanksgiving punch, wine, dessert wine, beer, and sparkling water.
It was very memorable moment!
Here is Emily making a picture for Thanksgiving. Louie keeps sitting on her picture though and wouldn't get off the paper. haha
Look at him. He's trying to look all innocent!
It was such a hot day. Emily goes for a scooter ride in the morning, but only for 15 minutes because the sun was too hot.
Brining all done. And now David is getting ready to put the turkey in the oven for 4 hours! The before and then few pictures down, you will see the DONE turkey!
We tried to see how big the turkey (22 pounds) is compared to Louie who is 3 1/2 pounds! But Louie wouldn't sit still.
