Jog-A-Thon At Canyon View Elementary

Couple of weeks ago was 2010 Jog-A-Thon where each of the class jogs around for 20 minutes. And on this particular Wednesday, the temperature was HOT! There was not a cloud in the sky, no cool breeze. It was just the sun and heat!  The DJ was there pumping the kids up with music. The Anaheim Ducks Mascot was also there to cheer on the kids!

The 2nd graders were running at 10:00AM. And here are some pictures of Emily who ran 6.5 times around the lap which is little over one mile.  Way to go, Emily!

1 minute left to go. Emily is tired & hot.  But she is a fighter and is not giving up!
Look! There's my mom on the right with a water bottle and a spray bottle to cool her granddaughter off!!!

And it's grandma and grandpa always there to cheer Emily on!
