Halloween Week at School

So this year there is no Halloween parade at Canyon View Elementary. But the kids were allowed to dress in colors of black, orange, and purple. Not as eventful as the past years, but still a fun day! The kids had pretzels, apples, and juices. No cookies, mini cupcakes. For craft it was a ghostly finger using molding clay, fake fingernails, and a blue pen. The party was from 12:30 - 1:30pm. So it was just enough time for the kids to kick back and have fun.  Next party will be Thanksgiving break.

The 3rd grade class have been busy preparing for the school play, "Emperor's New Clothes". And Emily is playing a part of a narrator. She had to try out for it and got selected. Oh she was very happy! So here she is saying her part and singing one of her favorite songs. She choreographed her own dance movement to this song. Thought it was fun to video tape it.
