Here are some pictures from our short trip to Austin, Texas. We arrived around 9:30pm at Austin Airport which looks so much like John Wayne Airport here in Irvine. Our main purpose for this trip is to visit and tour 6 potential private schools for Emily. So this is not the happiest trip for Emily, but she was a great sport through it all! And on our final day, we met with our realtor to tour about 7 homes. Think there are some areas that we do like, but trying to see where is the best location between the potential schools and work ---- that is IF we move 100%. As David says, we are still at 50% mark as far as our move is concerned.

On Friday afternoon we went to Regents to meet with the Director.
She gave us a tour of the garden and pond which is part of the curriculum. Each grade takes care of the garden, animals, etc.. for hands-on experience & education. This is a picture of Emily next to the butterfly bush. You cannot see but there are TONS of monarch butterflies fluttering around the bushes. It was am amazing site! |
