Happy 6th Birthday, Emily

Emily always has a great birthday. We go to my parents house for New Years having yummy duk-gook. And then it's cake and presents for Emily. Since she turned 6, she received 6 gifts on her birthday yesterday.
The dress she is wearing was a gift from my parents friends in New York - Dr and Mrs Chung. They sent that dress with a matching dress for a doll. And ironically, my mom and dad bought Emily a doll for her birthday too (very much a coincidence).

2 puppies, Knot a Quilt, My Melody lunchbox, Fashion Angels doll name Izzy, and a huge wooden big kid art case.
The morning of her birthday, David and I went into her room and sang Happy Birthday. She was so so excited, smiling, and bouncing. It was a very memorable moment to see how happy and excited Emily was for her birthday! Emily was born at 7:30PM on New Years Day. So when 7:30pm rolled around, we couldn't help but to let Emily know that this was the time she decided to join us and not stay in mommy's tummy anymore!!!


Auntie Susan (who is the founder and owner of www.soompi.com), Uncle Caleb, and CJ brought over a wonderful present for Emily. Auntie Susan knitted Emily a very pretty scarf and also got her this pretty carnation pink polk-a-dot raincoat. And it's supposed to rain tomorrow through Sunday!!!
