4th Grade Field Trip to Sacramento, CA

We returned from our wonderful Spring Break on April 14 (Saturday). Then on April 16, Emily and I were off to Long Beach Airport by 5:30AM for her school field trip. So I had to quickly unload from our Spring Break vacation and pack up as efficiently as possible for the 2 days adventure to Sacramento.  Calvary Christian School has used a company called Traveling Teens Tour Group for more than 15 Years and has had much success and fun with this company. And boy! Let's just say that schedule was jam packed with fun, tons of walking, sightseeing, and more walking and walking and walking...It was funny to see how the kids wanted to sit and rest rather than to keep going. That says a lot when kids are exhausted. With about 18 students in each of the 4th grade class, we had 2 tour buses - Emily was with her class Mrs. Dedmon's 4th grade and the other bus carried 18 students + each parent for  each of the kids. So it was manageable for each tour guide to have 36 people. Enjoy the pictures!

Everyone was exhausted, sweaty, and tired. We all went to Round Table for dinner and had pizza. Then it was off to Sacramento Airport to return home to OC. David picked us up at the airport. I had not seen Emily walk sooooo fast to get out of the plane and airport. I think she had enough airplanes, airports, and hotels, AND WALKING !!! It was great to be back home.

The 4th grade class had "Pajama Day" the next day so that the kids could just roll out of bed and come to school in their pajamas.
