Mother's Day/ 5th Grade Open House/ restoration

About 4 weeks ago we had hot water burst in our house. So we had to get all new plumbing for the hot water. It was chaotic. We had the restoration crew. With their machines to dry the walls and hardwood flooring.
But we managed and made the best of it in the midst of dust, mess, and more mess. Oh I already said mess, right? Well you know how much I cannot handle chaos and disorder!
We had David's mom, his aunt/ uncle from Maryland stay with us over Mother's Day weekend to attend a wedding in Carlsbad, Ca. The crew was working even when they arrived on Friday. But once again managed. And this past week was Emily's open house at Calvary Christian School where the 5th graders displayed their state report. And for extra credit the students could dress up to represent the state as well as bring food sample:

Yes! Emily dressed up as a Baltimore Ravens fan wearing Ray Lewis jersey. On this day her name was Ernie, which is what her teacher called her!😊
